Job Overview

As Vice President of Growth, you'll lead enterprise growth strategy for a multi-state Personal Care business, driving expansion across Medicaid, Veterans Administration (VA), IDD, Private Pay, and consumer-directed models—shaping the future of how seniors and adults receive quality care. You'll own where we grow, how we win, and how growth scales—from market and segment strategy through go-to-market execution, demand generation, and performance management—with real visibility and influence at the executive table. You'll build commercial playbooks, marketing engines, and operating cadence that empower field teams to drive consistent, sustainable growth in a highly regulated environment—creating systems that enable others to succeed. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, marketing, sales enablement, and operations and partners closely with executive and regional leadership.

Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Develop and lead a multi-year growth strategy across key segments and geographies that positions the company as the leader in community-based care
  • Assess markets through customer insights, competitive analysis, and regulatory dynamics
  • Translate strategy into annual growth plans with clear targets, budgets, and KPIs

Go‑to‑Market & Commercial Design

  • Create segment-specific go-to-market playbooks that drive tangible results—from positioning and messaging to referral strategies and conversion optimization
  • Lead launch planning for new services and market entries in partnership with Operations and Workforce teams
  • Develop standardized sales and growth enablement tools to support consistent field execution

Channel & Partnership Growth

  • Build and scale the enterprise growth approach for Veterans Administration (VA) services, including state‑level strategies and referral engagement models
  • Partner with operations leadership to accelerate IDD expansion across priority states
  • Identify and structure strategic partnerships that extend reach and strengthen referral pipelines

Demand Generation & Performance Management

  • Own the growth marketing engine end-to-end, from field marketing and community events to strategic referral programs and innovative digital efforts
  • Define and monitor performance metrics such as lead generation, referral activation, conversion rates, and census or hours growth
  • Lead regular growth reviews with executive and field leaders to drive accountability and continuous improvement

Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing central growth team while influencing regional and market leaders across a matrixed organization
  • Serve as a key growth partner to Operations, Recruiting, Revenue Cycle, and Marketing teams
  • Foster a disciplined, data‑driven, and mission‑aligned approach to growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience driving growth, marketing, sales, or commercial strategy within healthcare or multi-site service organizations
  • Proven success scaling go to market models in regulated, state by state environments
  • Proven track record scaling referral-based channels and deep familiarity with VA, IDD, or Medicaid waiver programs
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with the ability to translate plans into executable playbooks
  • Enterprise level ownership of growth strategy and execution, not just sales leadership
  • Direct impact on service mix diversification and long term platform growth
  • Opportunity to architect scalable growth infrastructure from the ground up in a mission-driven, community-based care organization
  • Direct partnership with executive leadership and high visibility across the organization
  • In-depth understanding of the non-medical home care and private duty nursing landscape—or strong commitment to rapidly mastering it
  • Ability to balance field execution with strategic thinking.
  • Strong relationship‑building, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Comfort working in a multi‑site, matrixed organization.
  • Commitment to quality care, compliance, and person‑centered service
  • Makes sound decisions with incomplete information and demonstrates excellent business judgment in complex, ambiguous situations
  • Manages and prioritizes multiple tasks and communication channels while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally in both oral and written formats.
  • Collaborates effectively with individuals across all departments and levels and builds positive working relationships.
  • Adapts to changing priorities, processes, or environments and learns new tasks as needed.
  • Works effectively with minimal supervision and takes ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Maintains professional conduct during routine and challenging interactions.
  • Thrives in high-pressure environments and brings out the best in teams during challenging times
  • Travel 25-75%
